Going on safari
With the long winter behind us, we’re longing for sunshine and warmth. We mix beige and green tones with vibrant accent colours like fuchsia and orange. We see a touch of a dressier ’80s look, with the double-breasted linen jacket’s wider lapels and a pair of smart, high-waisted trousers.
With the promise of brighter days ahead, we long to fill the wardrobe with colour. Green and beige are the basis of the 2018 spring collection. Green appears in many nuances, from olive to cool mint and apple green. A combination of olive, beige and orange is entirely right, both for work and weekend.
We see many variants of linen throughout the collection; for example, in knits, shirts, vests and jackets. This season a linen blazer is your faithful companion. Wear it with shorts or chinos, from lunch to dinner. The linen jacket is also available in a double-breasted version. A key garment this spring is our safari jacket with bellows pockets. The jacket comes in three colours: green, navy and beige. A versatile garment, it can be both casual and a little dressier and is very comfortable.
Spring is in the air
Our 2018 spring collection takes you to a tropical place where palms sway in a warm breeze, salt sea spray dampens your hair and sand gets between your toes. The look is inspired by warmer climes. We dress for cool comfort in luxurious silks. Pastels set the tone for a casual style this spring. On cool summer evenings, out on the veranda, the mood is right for a cosy knit pullover in pastel tones. An eye catcher this season is a white shirt with silvery leaves.
In early spring, when the nights are still dark and chilly here at home, we long for warmth and colour. You dream of the sound of the waves lapping the shore, the warmth of the sun on your face and the fabulous freedom of light, airy garments.
The colour scale is in pastels, with tops in light, elegant tones that are beautifully matched with knitted garments in darker nuances. Powder pink, mint green, light blue and various neutrals are easily matched with denim or dressier trousers.
A distinctive detail this spring is flounce. This feminine detail is just as right on a striped shirt as it is on a knit garment. We see everything from big flounces to small pleats. Flounces appear along the buttoning at the front, at the shoulders and as a detail in collars and cuffs.
